Deep Woods Deer & Elk Preserve, Back Woods Ranch, and North Woods Ranch are family owned and operated hunting preserves. Deep Woods started in 1994 with a small herd of elk and whitetail deer; we started offering hunts in 2000. Since then we have grown; adding red deer, fallow, and sika to our herd. Our second preserve, Back Woods, was added in 2011, with hunts starting in 2012. North Woods started offering hunts in 2015.
December 2018 update: After 22 years in business, Deep Woods is shutting down. A CWD positive from a purchased buck has forced a depopulation by the State of WI. We are so sad about this end. Fortunately, Back Woods and North Woods are unaffected and will continue to operate. Thank you to all our loyal customers, both long-term and new. |
