HEY Myndi!
I wanted to drop a quick note to tell you we had a BLAST at Deep Woods!
The cabin is AMAZING!
The grounds, property and animals were so COOL!
Bob is a really interesting guy that was such a terrific host!
We can't wait to come back in the fall to your little patch of paradise!
Next time we come we will have more supplies
for cooking nice meals at the cabin.
Take care of Bob - make sure he is NOT over doing it!!!! What a great guy!
Lee Ann & Ollie loved lounging around the
cabin as well as jumping in the truck for our afternoon hunt!
SO SORRY we missed you on Saturday morning - maybe next time!

I just bought cow elk and cleaned it up. Had
a couple meals off it already, and many more to come. This will beat any
beef or pork out there with being lean and healthy meat. I would like to
thank you again, and did not have to go out west. With gas prices, and take
week off work I know people spend 1,500 on elk hunt round trip easily.
Being 45 min. from my work place I went to work, and then went shot the elk
and came home. This is my kind of hunt, and will be back next spring, or
fall.

Hi Myndi and Bob-
Just a short note to thank you for a wonderful
hunt. I can decompress in a day and that is the place to relax. Bob, thank you
for everything from perfect weather to just listening to me ramble on about
myself. You have excellent people skills. I am sure the other hunting area
will work out well with you as the CEO!
Myndi, some day I may get a chance to meet you.
Meanwhile, thanks for your prompt replies to emails and for having such a
wonderful father. Take care of him. Having lost my dad to lung disease over 20
years ago still hurts, but I talk to him often (no, I'm not that crazy!)
especially when I hunt. He would have enjoyed your cabin and a chance to hunt
whitetails in the best place in Wisconsin!
I may not hunt next year, but I may rent the
cabin some time with my brother and nephew. They would like a relaxing
weekend. It is a great getaway and decorated with perfection for the
outdoorsman... or woman!
Thanks for everything!
Mike

Dear Myndi
I would like
to say I had a wonderful experience at Deep Woods the buck I got was great
even thought the drop point had broken off Brad had the tine and it was a
perfect fit. Your dad was a great host and Chester was a hoot I was
probably the most frustrating hunter you have had but your dad and Chester
treated me well anyway. I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn but
finally got the deer.
Hopefully someday I can experience your top
notch facilities and preserve again (depends on how my job search goes LOL)
When I get my venison brats and sausages finished I will be sending some.

I want to thank Bob for the great time we had
last week. The hospitality was outstanding. The red stag, fallow deer and the
whitetail that Roger took were all great animals. I highly recommend to

Attached are some pics of the three animals.
Feel free to post them and the email on you website.

Thanks to all of you for making my fourth hunt at the preserve so
enjoyable. Myndi - your help with setting up the schedule for the hunt and
the cabin, and confirming my travel route is greatly appreciated.
Chester - Thanks for helping set up my stand, and sharing your hunting

Bob - You not only take care of getting everything prepared prior to my

Myndi, Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know what a great
time we had last weekend at Deep Woods. The hunt was challenging, in fact we
only saw our buck early Saturday morning and never jumped him again the rest of
the day. Sunday morning I put Christopher in the stand at the SE corner of the
west hunting area. After two hours in the stand he saw a doe run by and noticed
another deer following, this one had antlers! The buck stopped to sniff where
the doe had been and Christopher made a great shot. The buck went about 50 yards
and pilled up. I was so proud of his patience in the stand both Saturday
afternoon and Sunday morning. It was a great hunt as well as a hard hunt. As
always the cabin was great and your dad (Bob) was very helpful. It was nice to
meet Chester, and Doug who caped my sons deer. Meeting them and the other people
that make Deep Woods run so well was great. Thanks again for all your help! I've
attached a couple of pics if you'd like to post them.

We wish you, your family and friends the very

Hi Myndi and Bob,
I had a great two days at your preserve, and I'll be back in the
future for hunting thrills.
Myndi - Thanks for all your help in setting up a schedule that was

Myndi, Just wanted to let you know that we
had a great hunt and a great time at Deep Woods again this year. We got in
around noon friday and were in the woods around 1pm. It was really neat to
hunt in the west area with 12 to 14 inches of snow. It looked like a scene
from a Christmas card. After about three hours of spot and stock hunting in
the deep snow and around a 4 degree temp we jumped our buck in a thick group
of pines. My son Christopher(14), using our shooting stick, steadied on the
buck around 50 yards away. He took the shot and the deer bounded away.
After a few minutes we went to where the buck was standing and saw some hair
on the snow, good sign! We tracked the deer for about 50 yards with only
the bounding tracks and just a drop or two of blood. In the middle of the
pines lay the buck all piled up! Needless to say Christopher was very
excited and so was I, he had made a perfect shot! Your dad(bob) came out
with the tractor as it was getting late and was able to haul the deer out.
With all that snow and the size of the buck my bad back was very thankfull!!
Again as last year the hunt was fun, the hospitality was second to none and
staying in the cabin with all those mounts and the warm fire stove was a
treat. We're already looking to next year!! Thanks for a great hunt again
and thanks especially to your dad for how he makes our stay a special
time!! Mike, Pennie and Christopher(dead eye)

Hi Myndi and Bob – Thank you again for another fantastic hunt! This is the
4th year we have hunted with you and its only getting better. We had an
awesome time and once again my son shot a great buck at a great price. When I
jumped this buck on a mini-drive at 100 yards I thought he might be too
skittish for Tanis to get a shot as he had already gotten past us twice in the
snow without us seeing him. However, Tanis managed to stop him with a grunt
and put a bullet right through the vitals. He only traveled 50 yards before
going down and you couldn’t wipe the smile off of my son’s face, or mine for
that matter (see pictures above). Not only did we have a great hunt but we
stayed in the cabin which was also amazing. AND my truck broke down on the way
up and Bob went out of his way to get us a rental car and get my truck to a
shop to be fixed. Next year my son will be 12 so we won’t need to come back
for him to hunt in Wisconsin. Guess what? We will be back because of the fun
experience and the exceptional treatment we received. Thanks again!
P.S. – Please feel free to post this message and these pictures on your
website, I hope it helps bring you more business.

Hey Bob and family,
I just wanted to take some time and thank you for the wonderful time we had up
there elk hunting. Everything was great. You really did your best to make me
and my daughter and grandson feel welcome and the accommodations were
fantastic. This was the first time that I ever elk hunt and high fence hunting
and I have to say that was not a turkey shot. There was a lot of hours
stalking it and a lot of hours to actually kill it. I found this trip very
rewarding. I thought that your prices were very reasonable for what I wanted
and for all of the accommodations I got and all of the land I was able to use.
I think that it really is a special place that when I shot the elk and I had
trouble tracking it you and your sons and daughter-in-laws all got together
and helped recover the animal. I would really like to tell people that think
high fence hunting is only hunting inside a fence really should go out there
and try it. If you would like to contact me you can write back to this email
or call 1-920-819-6603
Really truly thank you looking forward to seeing you guys next year,
Chuck Gardipee
P.S. there is a picture that I included that is with my grandson and I with
the elk. Also my 7 year old grandson said that you are not too bad of a bb gun
shooter that with a little bit of practice you could be as good as he is.

We would first like to
thank BOB..and MYNDI and all his wonderful family and all that worked so hard to
make our hunt a wonderful experience...We started out by booking a 3 day hunt
for a nice buck with BOB.....staying in his newly built cabin , that words just
can not discribe..I;m a disabled hunter and hunted with a crossbow for the first
time..DONT ever think that your hunt will be like "shooting a fish in a
barrel"...like I thought...It will be one of the most challengeing hunts of your
life....to make a long story short...I,with the help of my wife,jodie .. BOB..and
all his family and helpers...I ended up booking and taking 2 more hunts in a 3
week period and finished up with "3" of the most magnifacient BUCKS of my
life...We were treated as though we were part of his own family NOT..just
clients....and YES..me and my wife are coming back this october..to do it all
again...and as long as the good LORD lets me live...we shall be back year after
year. PLEASE give BOB a try...and you will NEVER...EVER..go anywhere else.ever
again...GOD BLESS you all...darrell n jodie..milwaukee wis.2007
ps...so
remember ! if a disabled 1/2 blind person ,hunting with a crossbow can end up
with 3 bucks...that shows you what BOB and his family will do for you...!!! and

Bob and Myndi, We just wanted to let you both know what a great time we had at
Deep Woods this last weekend. It's too bad that we had to leave early because
of the snow storm, but it was probably for the best as we had to drive back in
bad weather for at least half of the trip. I was glad me and Christopher were
able to go out into the woods friday afternoon to hunt. It was cold but things
warmed up quite a bit (attached pics) when Christopher was able to shoot his
first whitetail deer (119 gross b&c) right at dusk!! The hunt was challenging
and fun and the west preserve reminded me of areas i've hunted in NW
Wisconsin. Our son is already excited to hunt at your place again next year,
he's talking about an Elk!! My wife was really happy with the cabin and was
sad we had to leave early but is looking forward to more than one nite there
next year. We'll probably book a hunt for around the end of October. It was a
pleasure to meet you Bob and to talk to Myndi. Thanks again for the great time

Myndi,
Just a note to express our thanks to you, and your Dad for a wonderful hunt and
a great time spent with new friends. As you know I had wanted to spend a little
extra to make my son's deer hunt a bit more special by pitching in for a bigger
buck, but he got the buck he wanted without my contributions. And what a buck it
was!!! He is HUGE!!! And then to top off the great hunting experience I had,
searching for nearly 10 - 1/2 hours for my elk, (who I named George), he finally
opened up with that beautiful bugle which allowed me to stalk with-in less than
20 yards with the wind blowing in my face, and sunk my arrow deep into his
heart. WOW! What a rush!!! He had his head down, looking straight at me, all I
could think about was what he had done to those heavy plastic barrels and six
inch fence posts! Luckily, he turned and didn't charge. I had about an eight
inch window to shoot through the tree and it turned out perfect. He only went
about twenty-five yards and dropped. He didn't suffer much at all, and I was
glad of that. Then, Walt Jr. had the topping off surprise of anyone's life time.
A chance to shoot a huge 6 x 6 bull elk the same day he shot his magnificent
buck! And he did it!!! Both with a bow and on the same day!!! This one courtesy
of Bob and Dad. I'm sure I'll never be able to top that experience for my son
ever again. It was sure hard to say good-bye to such good people and new
friends, so I'll simply say, until next time, may GOD Bless and keep you always.
Your friend in Texas,
Walt Sr.

I would highly recommend this hunt. I took an excellent deer from the preserve
back in October. This was my first hunt with them and I'm planning for many more
in the future. The hunt was both challenging and fun. Bob Konopacky, the owner,
is extremely accommodating and will do anything to ensure you have a successful
hunt. If you require them, he can set you up with a taxidermist and meat
processor. I'm from Michigan and to take a deer of that caliber here it would
have cost me twice as much. Just like you, I do my research first and Deep Woods
was the least expensive hunt for size of deer that I was after (140 GBC).
Bob is currently building a lodge on the preserve property, but until that is
completed, (I think next year sometime) I would recommend staying at the
AmericInn in Plover, WI. This new hotel is only 10 minutes from the preserve.
They have a free continental breakfast, pool, hot tub, and sauna. I think I paid
about $55.00 a night.

Your dad and Randy were awesome during our hunt. They were both very helpful and

Also, I had asked your dad about the possibility of bringing up Keith Deaver for

the offer of two free does for Keith. Unfortunately, Keith has been admitted to

Dear Myndi
Just a short note to tell you what a great time myself and my son had hunting at
Deep Woods Preserve.
Bob's service was great and the hunt was very challenging. We were able to take
two trophy elk.
The first elk was taken from a tree stand after a great deal of calling and long
hours in the stand. The
stand that Bob had built was great. It was fully enclosed and he had even put in
a small heater.
I had my son take the first shot, and he was thrilled to get this fine trophy.
The next two days were spent stalking and tracking my elk. I knew I should have
taken the one from
the stand!! The hunt was both challenging and tiring, but well worth it.
When we told Bob that we wanted the meat processed locally and the mounts to be
done there as well,
he made some calls and the butcher and the taxidermist came right out to the
field, to make sure everything
went well. Talk about service!!!
I have hunted elk in Montana, and was successful there as well, but honestly
your hunt was just as exciting, and I
didn't have to spend 10 days. With only 5 % of elk hunters out west getting a
trophy, your place makes sense.
We can't wait to come back. I will be calling Bob soon to book another hunt.
Thanks again for a GREAT hunt!!
William LeFew
