Welcome to our website and our preserve!

Deep Woods Deer & Elk Preserve is a 220-acre farm consisting of breeding pens, pasture, and hunting preserve.  We are a family owned and operated ranch that started in 1994 with a small herd of elk and whitetail deer.  Now we have around 60 elk and 350 whitetail.  We added red deer in 2004 and fallow deer in 2009.

We started offering hunts in 2000.  Our goal is to provide you with an amazing hunt that you will never forget.  We work hard to make sure everyone has the time of their lives.  We do everything we can to accommodate hunters of all skill levels and physical abilities.  Just tell us what you need! 

As of September 8th, 2011, we will begin offering GUIDED HUNTS for animals 200"+ by 1 of 3 professional guides!

We are located in the heart of beautiful Wisconsin, 15 miles southwest of Stevens Point.  Here are driving directions and a Map of our ranch.  GPS users please note: your GPS unit will most likely not be able to find us!  Please use our directions above, or you could try typing in the address of "500 Buena Vista Drive, Plover," or "820 Townline Road, Plover/Wisconsin Rapids."  This has worked in some cases.  Feel free to call/email for help planning your route!

We can also offer information about area attractions, campgrounds, airport info and current weather conditions.

We offer on-site lodging in our HAND BUILT CABIN.   You can also book a room in one of these local hotels.

We now accept all major credit cards!  As always, we will continue accepting money orders, cashier's checks, and cash.
